Finance Assistant
As a Finance Assistant you will work directly with our CFO to assist with our day-to-day finance tasks and be responsible for your own workload.
Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in finance. As a Finance Assistant you will work directly with our CFO to assist with our day-to-day finance tasks and be responsible for your own workload. In addition to data entry and accounting reconciliations you will also participate in the development of our internal financial reporting. You will have the opportunity to create a modern and streamlined financial function with our CFO and our Finance Manager, working on a broad scope of tasks and helping to build our future.
Key Responsibilities
- Using Xero to record financial data
- Perform and streamline our bank reconciliations
- Support our Senior Credit Controller by tracking our billings and invoicing
- Assist the Finance Manager in the production of monthly reporting
- Participate in new software implementation
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Qualified in AAT or studying towards an accounting qualification (Desirable)
- Proficient with Excel
- Loves data and numbers
- Investigative with strong attention to detail
- Motivated, proactive, and ambitious
- IT literate
- Confident communicator with good written and spoken English
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to a fast-paced environment
